I liked the story of this book. It took many focuses on sexism. I think that many people need to read this to understand what happens in court or what happens to the ones raping women. Mostly they either get a couple of months or they don´t even get jail time. I think this book showed how the victim's family feels when the victim doesn´t get the justice they deserve. The characters are likable and you feel the family's pain. I would recommend that maybe teenagers would read this because it shows how justice is shown to the victims of rape. It is easy to read and it very interesting to follow the plot, you see it from the point of view of the younger sister Em, she's in middle school and already is tired and fed up with the boys there. She thinks that they are immature and just plain annoying. She hopes that boys in high school and college are better than the ones in middle school, sadly this is shown not to be try.
