Women are Warriors: The sword we carry
I took some deep breaths reading this first look. The words hit me to my core: Hard-hitting was taken to another freaking planet! I knew I needed this book the second I read what it was about. I would have snatched this book up in a heartbeat, but sadly there were no books left to claim.
There aren’t words for how I feel about this book. It’s empowering and shows we women aren’t to be messed with. The lines in this book are at another level of connectivity. I also loved the facts and statistics put into the book. Any women who reads this book is going to have some type of emotional response. Anger, heck yeah, but also determination and proudness. As perfectly stated in the book, “Little girls don’t stay little forever. They grow into strong women that destroy your world.”
This is going to be a tough read. I know there will be moments where I need to stop and take a moment, but I also know that this is a book I won’t regret reading. It’s a book that will stay with me.
