The cover and the title may have caught my eye first, but it was the blurb that really drove it home. This was a book I needed to read and the First Look did not disappoint. The story isn't told from Nor's, the survivor, perspective but Em's, the younger sister, budding journalist, and staunch advocate of survivors of the MeToo movement. The story isn't about showing Nor's rape or the trial, but what Em, her sister, does in the aftermath of the sentencing and the publicity of the trial. I think Em is a powerful character coming into her own voice and will learn how to use her voice to help those that can't speak up.
