These types of YA contemporary fiction books (usually dealing with a tragedy that are supposed to relate to the newest generation of high schoolers) are truly growing in popularity. I'm really glad to see more of them though, because it's the types of situations that teens would want to read about and feel solace and a relatability to in some way shape or form. Not for me, but a book I hope becomes a hit this year.
