Sounds like an incredible relevant feminist novel.

I feel like this is the novel everyone needs to read! It's so relevant in rape cases, the rapist seems to get by with little to no punishment. I feel that Joy McCullough's writing really allows you to feel the anger that Em feels. I have never heard of Marguerite de Bressieux before but I feel like I need to read this book and do research on her now! I am eager to learn how it all ends and how Em finds revenge for her sister.
