When I opened up the email and saw the cover I was immediately drawn to it. When I read the first line of the description saying it was YA contemporary I knew I wanted to take a peek. The first seven chapters really pulled me in. It is a topic that I had to deal with when I was in high school as well. I really would like to read further to see what Em does with her life. I am hoping she keeps speaking up for what should be right. I was disappointed that she quit the school paper.
