I remember reading her book Blood Water Paint and being captivated by her writing style and beautiful yet heartbroken words. We Are Ashes, We are Fire is like that as well. From the beginning, you are drawn to her words and the story. The writing is rich and beautiful and I love that it's written in prose. I also really like the cover and how well it complements the title.
