Not sure about this one...

While I am all for justice when it comes to the brutal and inappropriate treatment of women, this story kind of hits me the wrong way. I totally agree with the idea that the sister would be enraged about her sibling being raped and the rapist being given a free pass, however, the way the story begins makes the main character extremely difficult to relate to or sympathize with. Put simply, she emanates hate for the male species from the first page, which is set years before this happens to her sister. I like the premise of the book, but the execution is very political and the main character is a little too extreme even before the crime takes place. Difficult to judge this one.
