The book summary, title, and cover are really attention-grabbing, so I was very interested in diving into this one from the beginning. However, once I did, I didn't love the way this started off and I had trouble connecting with the writing style here. I found myself wanting to skip ahead through some of the dialogue, which isn't something I would normally do.
