I'm am so excited for a book that covers this real historical heroine. Normally, I try to avoid books that deal with such a dark topic, though I feel that it is necessary to be aware and educated about such matters. However, the fact that a YA novelist is tackling this topic by using history, poetry, and lovely prose has me hooked.
