Right off the bat I was skeptical....prose and poetry? Seems like it could go gimmicky very easily. But that cover....I mean gorgeous, right? And the title grabbed me too. So I opened the First Look...and 3 pages in I'm hooked. This book has a lot going for it. It references a pretty bad ass historical figure I know nothing about and it's definitely got drama! So, Joy McCullough, you have convinced me that this book is absolutely worth giving it a shot.
