Marianne is the younger sister to Elinor "Nor" who was sexually assaulted and the attacker, a fellow college student on the football team is found guilty by jury, but judge gives him a sentence of time served. Marianne is the tough, take no prisoners, loud sister and Nor is the more quieter one. Marianne fights for her sister's rights writing countless articles to gain justice but after the judge is sentence is taken aback and decides to give up writing and maybe even college to figure out her next steps. A fighter has now been subdued due to the hurt she feels she has caused her family. What will she do to mend her relationship with her sister and parents and who does she become will doing so.
