I was engrossed from the beginning. First it was the cover. It caught my eye and looked intriguing. Then the title. Then the story. It opens with a feel good moment, family talking and cooking together. Then the dynamic shifts. A horrific thing has happened and then justice falls through. Em, such a driven, powerful young lady who starts to doubt herself. I can’t wait to finish this book!
