The plot is heartbreaking because it rips so much from headlines. I want to hear the sister's story though. But there may be a bigger curve coming that makes the sister's point of view make the most sense so I would definitely keep reading. I do have to say, as a feminist myself, so far the author has gone heavy-handed on the concept in just this First Look.
