Give me something to talk about

I couldn’t tell from the cover what the summary of this novel about. The cover sort of threw me off with gold flakes. But I quickly recovered because man, if I a sister who would champion for me - I would want Em. The story is very real. Never heard of the author so definitely would check the book out. I feel the YA genre is really lucky to have authors like this book to address real life situations.
