First off, the cover of this book is stunning! This sounds like it is going to be a super hard-hitting contemporary and I am here for it. I loved the poem at the beginning and getting a sneak peak into the dynamics of the Morales family before that sense of dread takes over in Chapter One. I can't wait to read more of this story!
