A harsh and real examination of the US today

When I got a few pages into the first look, I was taken aback by how accurate and realistic it was. From the comments about Clinton needing to win to the family discussions of gender roles, I felt like this book hit the nail on the head in terms of accurate and consistent portrayal of social and political situations that Americans experience today. I loved the "smashing the patriarchy" narrative of this book that will most definitely relate to so many women today.
