Aaron Stein and his father own a used book store in a small Washington town. His family has fallen apart, he's stuck in town and lost his love of reading; the only book he can read is The Rise and Fall of The Dinosaur since he can resonate with it so well. Aaron makes the quick decision to sell his family's book store in secret but optimistic neighbors and friends step in to help fix up the dilapidated building, before Aaron knows it he's in over his head. As if Aaron didn't have enough to deal with, he unexpectedly meets Hannah, a beautiful musician Aaron claims is his inevitable. Aaron realizes his mistake of selling the store and attempts to get it back.

This book was not at all what I expected, but not in a bad way! It deals with family, love, loss, and grief so beautifully. I thought this was going to be a typical love story - boy meets girl, it's love at first sight, and so on but it wasn't. This was a very well done coming of age story!
