This book surprised me, because it was so much deeper than I originally thought. When I picked it up I thought I would get a romance involving dinosaurs and books. While that is a big aspect of it, it also contains so much more. It talks about depression and addiction, as well as has themes of community and friendship. Chad was a super great friend who was always so positive about everything, despite his situation. And don't even get me started on the lumberjacks. They were so selfless when they didn't have to be, and they were super helpful in fixing up the bookstore. I did not predict how the book would end, but somehow it made perfect sense for it to end in the way that it did. It was satisfying and concluded the story nicely, while also indicating that it wasn't a true ending, but rather a beginning of something new, something better. I was very happy to have picked up this book, and it was well worth the read.
