Understanding our past as it relates to our future

Aaron is bitter. Everyone has left him and his father. He has a bookstore and understands how the dinosaurs felt when they became extinct. Kind of like a bookstore in a town where everyone is leaving or out of work. What will happen when an offer for the bookstore comes about, will it save Aaron? Will he become happy and find his future?
