It's kinda romantic to read a book about loving books, bookstores, and stories especially for an avid reader like me! And probably everyone on this site is also feeling the same things Ira does. I empathize with Ira when he was defending his bookstores and arguing for its existence. I also love bookstores and entering one instantly transports me to another world. The closures and lack of independent bookstores is really tragic and this book echoes that. I wasn't expecting much when I was reading the first impression, but I'm impressed and hooked now!
