While I do love Gayle Foreman's writing, contemporary books have never been my thing. I've read some of the author's other books and enjoyed them well enough, but the premise of this book doesn't really capture my attention or heart. The excerpt wasn't particularly gripping, so I'll just say this was a miss for me.
