I was interested to read more with the synopsis of the father and son bookstore. It sounds so fun and made me nostalgic of my bookselling days.
However, my first impression is that the main character, Aaron is really unlikeable. Maybe on purpose? He calls his father by his first name, and when asked why he doesn’t like music, he says: “because I’m a book person.” That made me cringe. With that said, maybe this just isn’t the book for me.
