Hooked in 2 paragraphs
The cover for We are Inevitable is clean and striking. I don't usually buy a book based on it's cover, but this one definitely grabs the eye.
The first looks is where the hook is set however, espcially the last sentence of paragraph 2- "It's not nothing", which is a common refrain between my husband and I.
It just gets better from there, with rich descriptions of a failing bookstore and the magic of books, and a father and son who appear to have switched places, with the son now being caretaker. I am excited to delve deeper into their world.
