A Bookstore Crashing Down From the Sky
Even though the design isn't the type I like, it's more clip art like and doesn't really stand out, I think it was well thought out. I am glad there is not dinosaurs on the cover as I think that would turn this book into a middle grade and kind of make this book less appealing to the young adult targeted audience, I am glad that there is the streaks like asteroids falling, which points to the extinction of the dinosaurs.
I think the story is well written and easy to follow but the plot just doesn't catch my attention. I am not really drawn to the story so sadly this isn't my type of book. I think that the characters were well portrayed and you could easily tell how much Ira is emotionally tied with the bookstore simply from the actions he takes. So the story does good of showing not just telling. I just wish there was a little more to grab my attention.
