At first thought, I was not sure I would enjoy a book about an old "moldering bookstore in a crusty mountain town" but as I continued to read the "first look" I found myself falling in love with the story already. I love the comparisons to dinosaurs and also the ability for Aaron to face what he has lost, what he has found and learn how destruction doesn't necessarily mean extinction.
