It wasn’t my favorite book of all time. I think this book just wasn’t meant for me. The writing, the plot, the characters, I just personally didn’t enjoy it. However, the book is still good which is why it still gets 3 stars. I think other people would enjoy it more than I did which is why I would still recommend it. Great Lgbtq+ representation and there’s POC characters. It does great in regards to diversity. I’ve found that dark fantasy is not my all time favorite thing but if you do like dark fantasy this novel may be a good pick for you.
I also still really adore the cover art. The design and colors are very nice and definitely eye catching. I am one to judge a book by its cover (bad habit, I know). But this is definitely a cover that pulls you in just by taking a quick glance at it! So overall, wasn’t my cup of tea, but could be another’s so I would recommend!
