So, I used my points for this book because I read What Big Teeth and loved it. I was thrilled when I found out she was writing another book, and I didn't even hesitate. It has the prettiest cover, and I thought it would be a nice read for Pride Month. ( HAPPY PRIDE MONTH, BTW) However, this book isn't what I was expecting. It's good! It has a nice plot, mysterious characters, and some cool concepts, but I couldn't read more than a chapter at a time. The third person is kind of suffocating. I continuously had to force myself to come back and read it. I got about halfway through before I quit. I feel so bad about it, but I really could not finish the book.
I'll finish this book, though. I have faith in Rose! I will read this book, and even if I don't end up liking it, at least I tried.
