As an avid fantasy reader, I was drawn to this book with the blurb description. I was excited to see there were queer characters in this book, but for some reason, the first look just didn't impress me as much as I had hoped. I think the book definitely would gear towards YA fantasy, and I prefer adult fantasy. The concept of this book seems cool though and I can see how this would be a great read for the right audience!
