I have had this book on my TBR list for months simply because of the cover, so I was really excited to see it as a pick for First Look!
Firstly, I love a YA book with a prologue because they always make me start the story with a million questions. And this one did exactly that. How does the magic system work? Where is this place? What was the plan that went awry? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
I can truly say that I have NO idea what is going on or what is going to happen, but not in a way that I am confused, but rather SUPER intrigued. This one seems like it's going to be a wild ride?
