starting with the prologue, it was very interesting! i know some people skip prologues, but i am not that kind of person. i think prologues give a great insight into the tone of the book, and if i am right, this book will be interesting! i absolutely loved the part about the dethroned king and dead queen. it was a shock and a great set up for a mystery. wanting to know what happened to them would definitely pull me into a story.
as for chapter 1, it was not as good as the prologue. the start was a bit bland, but i'm still hooked from the prologue, so i'll continue.
