Before deciding on a book to read, I check out reviews because other readers know what works and what doesn't. Unfortunately, this one has so many negative reviews, and a lot of them focus on needing more edits regarding gender, racism, and whether this is even a YA read. I'm not a fan of books that are rushed out without proper editing, and as amazing as this book sounds, it would need some repairs before I read it.
