What a killer opening line: "In the secret city at the hub of the world, the revolution was over." It puts the reader smack dab in the middle of the fantasy world and sets the scene in such a short little sentence. I quickly dove into the prose, which was easily readable yet described a clearly intricate fantasy world that I think will take the whole book to unravel. I quickly wanted to jump into this world and be a part of it. I'm looking forward to reading the rest!
