I am always ready to read another queer fantasy book...and a duology! Even better! I'm even more excited about the blurb's hint to themes of power differentials. To me, this is one of the most interesting aspects of fantasy because it can make people more comfortable talking about issues that are not only in the fantasy world, but the real world too.
