As soon as I read the excerpt of Watch Her by Edwin Hill, I was interested in this book! Thank you Bookish First for allowing me to read it. Edwin Hill is a good writer. The book flowed well, even though it was about many different characters that got their own chapters. Not all of the characters were likable, in fact some of them were absolutely terrible. I liked Barret and Hester, and Angela, though. Barret had a great story! I liked that he was an artist and that his art played a big part in the book. Hester is one of those characters that finds themselves in the middle of mysteries without trying to. After I read this book I found out she is in two previous books that I am looking forward to buying and reading. Angela is the character that doesn't necessarily want Hester involved but relies on her anyway. There were so many different stories it's impossible to know if there is a main story! Pretty much everyone has something to hide. At one point there was so much going on I got confused. But then the revelations started and everything began to make sense. If you want a book full of surprises, read this book! #bookishfirst #watchher
