This was a nice mystery/thriller with multi-character povs, an intriguing plot, and suspense for dayssss.
I didn't realize this book was part of a series at first (which made the beginning a little confusing), but I didn't feel like I was lacking too much knowledge as the book progressed. I'd probably recommend reading the previous 2 books first, but if you can't/don't want to, you'll survive reading this as a stand-alone.
This book truly was a page-turner. The mystery and intrigue just kept increasing as the book moved forward. Just when I would think I had something figured out, I would be thrown a curveball and would have to rethink things. That was something I loved about this book and part of what made it such a good mystery and thriller book.
The characters were interesting to get to know as well. Just like other mystery books, this one contained a cast of characters that were suspicious and strange and had me guessing until the end. I would be interested in reading the previous 2 books just to learn a little more about some of these characters. As well, it was nice that the book with written from the pov of multiple characters so we got a good sense of what was happening in the story.
Overall, I enjoyed this thriller and look forward to reading the other books in the series.
