This story really pulled me in, even without having read the first two (oops, didn't realize this was a series) so I missed out on some of the character development and knowing them from the previous books but I was still able to dive in to this one. I loved reading from the perspectives of the different characters and it took me much longer into the story than it normally does to figure out the big secret which is awesome, I love when a good mystery keeps me guessing! There are plenty of twists and turns and enough secrets that you may guess one but you probably won't get them all. This was a great mystery focusing on what lengths people will go to to protect their family and the ones they love. Now I'm excited to go back and read the first two to learn more about the characters back story which feels like they each have mysteries and secrets all their own.
