This book was a masterful novel involving several complex characters. The reader feels instantly drawn into their lives and varied personalities. A librarian is always an interesting person in any novel. The scope of knowledge involved in their career keeps them one step ahead of the other characters. This is especially true in this book. With every step, her Mc Gyverish skills draw the reader step by step into the world of research and family secrets. I especially enjoyed the fact that this book was not comprised of computer research, but utilized old fashioned books to gain information.
I also enjoyed the artistry of the book cover. It gave the reader a small insight into the story that could not be shown in written word only
