I Wish I Read The First Two
Okay, so let’s talk Edwin Hill’s upcoming book y’all!
I definitely feel that if I would have read the previous two books, I would have felt more connected to the characters. I feel like I would have understood their relationship more if I could have seen it be established from the previous readings.
I did like Hester as a MC. I thought she was smart and quite brilliant. She was a lie able character, and I am definitely open to going back to the first two books to see how she developed as a MC.
Hill did an amazing job on painting a picture of how trash the Matson’s truly are. There was no way I was going to cheer for them or their wealth, and that is from the excellent writing.
Watch Her is a definite slow burn that many sleuthing/whodunit mystery fans will enjoy.
Thank you Kensington & Books Forward PR for the gifted copy. Watch Her is out Dec. 29th!
