Let me start by saying, I think I would have absolutely loved this book if I had read the earlier two books in the series. On the plus side though, I enjoyed this book so much that it made me want to actually go back and read the other two. I found the mystery really appealing and I just ripped through the entire book so quickly. I also found it to be really well written and the pacing was good. The only critiques I would have is that the story line was sometimes difficult to follow. For example, there were quite a few story lines and perspectives that it got difficult to follow at times. Especially because every single story line and character had multiple problems, there was a little bit too much information jam packed into every story line.
All in all, I really did enjoy this book and I can’t wait to go read the rest of the mysteries in the earlier books!
