Watch Her by Edwin Hill has different character perspectives of Maxine, Hester, and Barret. All the characters seemed very realistic and the story kept me guessing on what happens next. After each chapter goes by, it gets more interesting and is a page turner. In the first few chapters, it is confusing but I was able to understand more as the story went on. Another thing I really liked was how descriptive the book was in multiple scenes. When I first got this book, I wasn't aware that it was part of a series. By reading the first two books in the series, I might have been able to get a better understanding of each character and their backstory. However, even though I didn't read previous books in the series, the story still made sense and was simple to understand. Adding on, the cover was compelling to me. In the font and way the author's name was written, you can see blood which correlates to the murder in the book.
