In preparation for reading this book I read the first two in the series. With that being said I have to say this is my favorite in the series! The author is great at writing from multiple POVs and I loved how the chapters were clearly labeled for each characters point of view.
There were a few predictable plot points but also some surprises. I especially loved the growth of the main characters from the previous books.
I also loved seeing additional insight into Hester and Morgan’s relationship. It’s always entertaining to see what additional animals will be included in the story since Morgan is a vet.
Sometimes it can be hard to follow along in books with so many different characters and POVs but the characters and their stories were perfectly intertwined in this book. I hope the author continues to add to this series and I look forward to more stories about Hester and her friends!
