Although I hadn't read the first two books in the series I was still able to thoroughly enjoy this story. I will definitely go back and read the other two though. I really liked this story. Hester is a librarian who solves mysteries and she is good at what she does. The dialogue for this book was easy to read and follow along even if you haven't ever read the other ones. The book starts with Hester and her friend attending a gala for Prescott University when they find out someone has broken in the university owner's home. As the story unfolds Hester quickly learns not everyone is telling the truth. As Hester starts digging she finds more than she could ever expect to find. The book takes off from there and ends with a satisfying and clear conclusion. I will definitely pick up the other two in the series as these were the perfect kind of mystery. It was not typical and a very intriguing plot line that some could say was timely. Highly recommend.
