The description sounds really good, but not much has happened in the first few chapters. I wish either something happened early on or the first look gave more chapters because it didn't really grab my attention. I would keep reading though because I like the idea of a librarian working with a detective, and I'm interested to see how the first chapter of 24 years ago comes into play. I also really liked how the chapters switched between different characters.
