I'm excited to read this because I love that one of the main sleuths in the story is a relatable librarian and mother. I already like Hester's point of view! The initial chapters and description suggest that this mystery will focus strongly on character development and psychology, which is always the kind of mystery I prefer. I like that the book began decades earlier from Maxine's perspective, suggesting this mystery will have long-buried and old secrets to discover!
