I like how the book is told from a few different third person limited points of view. This adds more perspective to the book as you get to understand all sides of the story. The way the new narrator is introduce is very nice as they start telling the story right as the last one left off but from a different viewpoint and a different set of situations.

I also like how the author describes things without coming right out and saying it. She does this in regard to past experiences which help add to the mystery in the story. I didn’t get much else out of the first impression, but I can tell this will be a gripping suspense where you don’t know who to trust.

One thing that I didn’t really like was the amount of new people introduced in a short period of time. This makes the story confusing to follow especially because the time period the chapters take place in are different. It is hard to keep track of the character and who they are especially because one chapter they are a kid and the next they are married. ‘

As for the cover I like the simple details. The faded lettering helps draw suspense to the novel. The girl in the cover helps tie it to the books name. But I wish it was a little more suspenseful by adding some darker undertone colors.
