As a librarian myself, I'm always super intrigued by any book that features a librarian or an academic setting. Couple that with the dark element of mystery and suspense, and I'm in! My favorite novels are set up just as this one is -- alternating among characters. If I don't have to go back and read the previous two books to understand this one, I think I might have found the next book to add to my read list!
