The saying goes "Don't judge a book by it's cover" but I did and it paid off! This book had me hooked from the very first page. This book is full of mystery, intrigue, and scandal that I'm sure nobody will see coming! I love the strong male and female leads in the book. The women are ruthless and this story clearly doesn't revolve around any stereotype of a damsel in distress or women blinded by love. The author also subtly addresses fears and circumstances people have to deal with every day (if they aren't a cocky large male) but often go unacknowledged.
