Let me start by saying that this was a fantastic read. Although the setting is futuristic, as it sets in Mars 2201, it is a very relevant read as it seems to mirror current issues going on in this day and age. I enjoyed most of the book, even though at first the book seemed daunting since its about 600 pages, and so I thought it would take me a while to finish reading, but once I got absorbed into this story I found everything that was going on to be believable to the point that I found myself confusing some of the events in the book with real life events, but maybe that's because I was reading this book when there is so much political tension going on. Although the book is categorized as Sci-Fi, I find that this book would also make a fantastic Young Adult read, and I would highly recommend to anyone who is curious on how mankind will be in a couple hundred years. I only deducted one star, because there were some parts that seemed to draw on forever and they seemed a bit dull, but once you get over those moments, the rest of the book is a fascinating tale, and this is coming from someone who hasn't read too much sci-fi.
