I was extremely disappointed with this book. I really thought it was gonna be a very action packed sci fi about war between mars and earth but it was not at all that. It took me over 2 weeks to read which is not normal for me. It is a very character driven story and really focuses on the people of the story. If you like a story with a plot or an end goal this is not for you cause there is none. There was only one part at the very end of the story that gave me some sort of feeling and emotion. It wasn’t the absolute worst thing I’ve ever read hence the two stars instead of one but it was very boring and way too long. I think the translation could also use a little work it took me a few chapters to actually get used to it and understand what was going on. This is my own personal opinion, you might like it so don’t let me deter you from reading it.
